Cegid Integration Guide for Production Scheduling with SkyPlanner APS

This Cegid integration guide shows partners and IT teams how to connect Cegid manufacturing ERPs to SkyPlanner APS: Cegid PMI first, then Cegid Primavera and Cegid Ekon. SkyPlanner integrates with Cegid in both directions, using Cegid’s own interfaces:

  • OF (ordres de fabrication, ordens de fabrico, órdenes de fabricación) with their operations, gammes, nomenclatures, postes de charge and machines, articles, stock and supplier orders flow in.
  • Planned start and end dates go back to every OF operation.
  • Operator time can post back as pointages (PMI), Diários de Trabalho (Primavera) or imputaciones (Ekon), if you choose.

Cegid’s integration interfaces

Cegid PMI. Cegid provides a Web API for PMI: “Facilitez les échanges sécurisés avec vos applications externes grâce à la mise à disposition de Web API depuis votre gestion de production Cegid.” The Web API keeps Manufacturing PMI’s business rules intact in external applications (Cegid PMI). PMI also offers EDI, standardized XML files for technical data from CAD, and a report generator with exports to Excel. The Excel export is the fastest route for trial data.

Cegid Primavera. The PRIMAVERA ERP V10 API “allows third party applications to perform both data query and writing operations” and covers all of the product’s modules (V10 API documentation). The Web API is documented and callable through Swagger, separated by module (Web API Swagger). The Produção (GPR) module covers fichas técnicas, net requirements, OF launch, Planeamento, production records and Diários de Trabalho (Produção reference). Key services for scheduling:

  • IGprBSOrdensFabrico reads ordens de fabrico and their operations (GprBEOFOperacao).
  • IGprBSPlaneamento loads OF for planning and updates planned operations with ActualizaPlaneamentoOperacao.
  • IGprBSCentrosTrabalho, IGprBSPostosTrabalho, IGprBSOperadores and IGprBSRoteiros read centros de trabalho, postos, operadores and roteiros.
  • IGprBSDiariosTrabalho records work with IniciaPicagem and TerminaPicagem.

Cegid Ekon XRP Industria. Cegid states that Ekon connects with other management systems in the company (Cegid Ekon). The SkyPlanner team sets the interface for your Ekon installation in scoping.

Authentication and licensing

  • Cegid PMI. Web API access for the integration is enabled for your PMI installation in scoping, together with your Cegid partner.
  • Cegid Primavera. Each Web API entity exposes a Login method that returns a Bearer token with a session key, and the token is renewed through the token endpoint (Web API Swagger). The integration user needs the Produção licenses for the areas it calls.
  • SkyPlanner side. The REST API authenticates with an API token in the Authorization-Token header (SkyPlanner Settings > API) and is documented in Swagger/OpenAPI. The integration tutorial walks through the first calls.

Events and polling

The Cegid side is polled. Queries filtered to open OF and recent changes pick up new work. The frequency is set per plant, from every few minutes for OF to hourly for stock.

SkyPlanner sends webhooks when state or the schedule changes, so the write-back side is event-driven.

Integration patterns

1. Initial master data load. Read articles, nomenclatures, gammes, postes de charge, machines, operators and calendars. Map postes deliberately: a poste de charge with four machines becomes one workstation group with four workstations.

2. OF sync. Read firm OF with their operations and components, plus open supplier orders. SkyPlanner treats ordered material as available on the PO delivery date and updates stock when the PO is marked Delivered. Decide in scoping whether planned OF (OF prévisionnels) are scheduled too, or only firm OF.

3. Schedule write-back. When the engine places or moves a job, a SkyPlanner webhook triggers the write to Cegid. In PMI, planned start and end dates go to the OF operations through the Web API, under PMI’s business rules. In Primavera, the integration calls IGprBSPlaneamento.ActualizaPlaneamentoOperacao with the operation, centro de trabalho and planned start and end, which updates DataIniPrevista and DataFimPrevista on the ordem de fabrico operation.

4. Shop-floor confirmations. Operators log work with SkyPlanner Mobile Confirmations or the Production Timer, and the timelogs keep the schedule current. You choose whether time posts back to Cegid. If yes, it goes as pointages in PMI or through IniciaPicagem and TerminaPicagem in Primavera’s Diários de Trabalho. If no, time is captured in Cegid by barcode as before.

5. Ownership and conflict rules. Write them down before go-live:

DataOwner
Articles, nomenclatures, gammes, OF quantities and statusCegid
Operation sequence, start and end times, machine assignmentSkyPlanner
Setting time matrix, tool and operator requirements, alternative resourcesSkyPlanner
Shifts and non-working daysOne system, chosen in scoping
Time, consumption and completionsCegid, entered there or posted from SkyPlanner timelogs

Pick one writer of OF dates. SkyPlanner replaces PMI’s planning runs and Primavera’s planning algorithm as the writer of planned dates. Stop running those planning runs for OF that SkyPlanner schedules, so the two do not overwrite each other.

Typical project steps

Implementation is normally completed within weeks after onboarding starts. Before that, validate the schedule in the 30-day free trial with postes, gammes and open OF exported from Cegid as CSV or Excel.

  1. Mapping. Fix the mapping table, ownership rules, sync frequencies and whether time posts back.
  2. Cegid access. Create the integration user and confirm rights and licenses for the production objects. Test in a test company first.
  3. Initial load. Articles, nomenclatures, gammes, postes de charge, machines, operators, calendars.
  4. OF and supplier order sync. Polling with filters, paging and retries.
  5. Constraint setup in SkyPlanner. Setting time matrix, tools, operator counts per job and alternative machines or personnel.
  6. Schedule write-back. Planned operation dates from SkyPlanner webhooks, plus time posting if chosen.
  7. Parallel testing. Run SkyPlanner beside the current plan, compare dates, fix master data.
  8. Go-live. Switch on write-back once the data matches.

What to plan for in a Cegid integration

  • Firm and planned OF. PMI creates both from the CBN. Scheduling planned OF shows future load, but write dates back only to firm OF.
  • Operations flagged out of planning. In Primavera an operation can be marked as not subject to planning (NaoSujeitaPlaneamento). Skip those on write-back.
  • Machine and operator time. Primavera holds machine time and operator time separately on each operation. Map both, so multi-operator jobs get the right crew.
  • Overlapping operations. Primavera operations carry an overlap coefficient. Map it to SkyPlanner’s step timing, or the schedule waits longer than your shop does.
  • Which Cegid ERP. PMI, Primavera and Ekon use different interfaces. Confirm the product and version first, and for Cegid XRP Flex use the Acumatica integration guide.

Who configures and supports the Cegid integration

  1. The SkyPlanner team configures it during onboarding and supports it after go-live, across the agreed Cegid API calls. Every plant runs Cegid differently, and this is where that know-how goes.
  2. Your Cegid partner can take part. The partner knows your setup, customizations and licenses, and can set up the integration user and API access alongside the SkyPlanner team.
  3. Your own developers can build on it against SkyPlanner’s REST API with an API token. An API token is enough to start, and the SkyPlanner team assists when needed. Integration documentation is at SkyPlanner integration docs.

SkyPlanner starts from 199 € per month with 5 workstations included, billed monthly. The integration is quoted up front for your process and needs, together with your plan. See pricing, Cegid finite capacity scheduling, the Cegid page and the ERP integrations hub.

FAQ

Does Cegid PMI have an API?

Yes. Cegid provides a Web API for PMI for secure exchanges with external applications, keeping Manufacturing PMI’s business rules intact. SkyPlanner uses it to read OF and write planned dates and pointages.

Does Cegid Primavera have an API for manufacturing orders?

Yes. The PRIMAVERA V10 API supports reads and writes across all modules. The Produção module exposes ordens de fabrico, Planeamento with ActualizaPlaneamentoOperacao, and Diários de Trabalho.

How are planned dates written back to Cegid?

In PMI, through the Web API to each OF operation. In Primavera, through IGprBSPlaneamento.ActualizaPlaneamentoOperacao, which sets the planned start and end of the ordem de fabrico operation.

Does Cegid support webhooks?

The integration polls Cegid on a schedule set per plant. SkyPlanner’s own webhooks push schedule changes as they happen, so dates reach Cegid right after each replan.

Should a Cegid partner propose Cegid’s built-in planning or SkyPlanner?

SkyPlanner, when the customer’s constraints go beyond machines and stock. Cegid itself recommends connecting advanced planning tools for further constraints (Cegid PMI). SkyPlanner plans operators, tools, setups and material, replans automatically and has unlimited users, from 199 € per month.

Can we test SkyPlanner before building the integration?

Yes. The 30-day free trial supports up to 20 workstations with CSV or Excel imports from Cegid, no credit card needed. Start the trial, or talk to sales to scope the integration.
