What we’ll cover in your demo

Four practical questions, answered together

The first call is a product demo and a fit & scoping conversation — built around your production, not a fixed pitch.

Does SkyPlanner fit our production process?

We look at your workstations, process steps, orders, constraints and how you plan today.

How would our planning data enter SkyPlanner?

We explain how SkyPlanner integrates with your ERP — most customers run a two-way integration via our REST API — with CSV/Excel import as a secondary route.

What would the onboarding path look like?

We outline assisted onboarding — our expert-led service — and a realistic route to your first live schedule.

What security & procurement details do we need?

Hosting, GDPR/DPA materials and the questions your IT or procurement team will ask.

From demo request to a clear next step

An honest, step-by-step path

No two productions are alike, so we don’t promise a finished plan on the first call — we move toward it together.

1

Share your planning context

Submit the form or contact sales with a few words about your production and what’s hard to schedule today.

2

Join a demo & fit conversation

See the SkyPlanner workflow and talk through your process, data and constraints with a specialist over Teams.

3

Agree the right next step

Most teams continue with assisted onboarding — our paid, expert-led service — at the pace that suits you.

4

Move toward a first schedule

Through assisted onboarding we work toward a realistic first schedule and a deployment roadmap.

What you'll see in the demo

See how SkyPlanner solves production scheduling in practice

We walk through the real SkyPlanner workflow with realistic production examples and show how orders, work phases, capacity, materials and ERP/MES integrations fit together. At the same time, we map how the solution could fit your production.

  • Production scheduling workflow from start to finish
  • Gantt timeline, workstation capacity and workload
  • How orders, work phases, priorities and constraints are modeled
  • How materials are included when the required data is available
  • Two-way ERP/MES integration through our REST API
  • CSV/Excel import as a lighter way to start bringing in data

Most customers use SkyPlanner with an ERP/MES integration. In the demo, we review what the integration could look like in your environment and what data production scheduling needs. The actual configuration and proof of concept are built with you during assisted onboarding.

When you’re ready to go further

Assisted onboarding: an expert by your side

The demo shows you the product — we don’t configure anything to your production there. The real setup happens in assisted onboarding, a paid, expert-led service and the best way to get SkyPlanner working in your production.

An expert gets to know your production in depth
Configures SkyPlanner to fit how you produce
Trains your team to run it in your own production
Builds a proof of concept with you, assisted
Helps with ERP integration — as a service from us or our partners
Or REST API consulting, if you’d rather integrate yourself
Helps take SkyPlanner live in production
Stays on as your dedicated support contact

The proof of concept is built with you during assisted onboarding, not on the first call. Onboarding and ERP integration are paid services — we scope and agree them with you, including whether we, a partner, or your own team handles the integration.

Built for real production planning across manufacturing environments

  • Factories from a single line to hundreds of workstations across multiple sites
  • Any industry where production runs through steps, machines or work phases
  • Planning today with Excel, an ERP module, manual Gantt or whiteboards
  • Whenever orders, materials, capacity or priorities change and you need to reschedule fast

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

What happens after I submit the form?
We send you a booking link so you can choose a suitable Teams meeting time. The first call is a product demo and a fit & scoping conversation: we learn how your production planning works, show where SkyPlanner fits, and answer your questions before any commitment.
Do we need to prepare data before the demo?
No. A short description of your production process, planning challenges, current ERP/MES or Excel setup, and the number of resources or workstations is enough. The first demo can use realistic examples; your own data comes later if we move into onboarding or a proof of concept.
Will you build a schedule from our own data in the first call?
Usually not in the first call. If there is a fit, assisted onboarding is where we import example or customer data, configure SkyPlanner around your process, and build a proof of concept you can evaluate between workshops.
Can SkyPlanner fit our production process?
SkyPlanner is built for production planning across different manufacturing environments. In the demo we map the key constraints: workstations, process steps, capacity, materials, priorities, due dates and exceptions, then agree whether SkyPlanner is a good fit for your operation.
How do ERP or MES integrations work?
SkyPlanner is integration-ready through REST API, webhooks and data import. Most customers use a two-way ERP/MES integration so orders and schedules stay in sync automatically. CSV/Excel import can be used to get started or when a full integration is not needed yet.
What happens after the demo if there is a fit?
The usual next step is assisted onboarding: we get to know your production, configure SkyPlanner, guide data import, train your team and build a proof of concept. Integration work, customization and a rollout plan are scoped with you separately when needed.
How are pricing and the quote handled?
Pricing is based on workstations plus any onboarding, integration or customization services. After the demo and scoping, we prepare a tailored quote. You can also review our pricing page for published starting points.
What should IT or procurement know?
SkyPlanner is a cloud-based APS SaaS hosted on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany as the default EU region. GDPR, DPA and security materials can be reviewed when needed, and customer-specific requirements can be scoped during the sales and onboarding process. SkyPlanner is currently SaaS-based.
