Choose your industry
Production scheduling software by industry
Each industry page shows how SkyPlanner handles the machines, materials, changeovers and delivery dates of that industry.
Food and process
Sequence allergens and changeovers, plan lines to real capacity and promise reliable delivery dates.
Plan bulk to filling, shade and fragrance changeovers, components and SKUs.
Metal and machinery
Plan furnaces, dies and alloys for foundries, forges and stamping plants.
Electronics and devices
Plan SMT setups, component availability, test and box build to real capacity.
Plan machining, molding, cleanroom assembly, inspection and sterilization to real capacity.
Materials and consumer goods
Sequence presses by colour, format and substrate, and plan dies and plates to capacity.
One scheduler
The same scheduler at every size
A five-workstation shop and a plant with tens of thousands of active process steps use the same SkyPlanner. Only the number of workstations and the services around it change.
Configured to each factory
More than 1,000 configurable settings fit SkyPlanner to the process of each factory, so very different plants, even in different industries, use the same software.
Standalone or integrated
Start with Excel and CSV imports, and connect any ERP or MES through the open REST API when you are ready.
Pay per workstation
From 199 € / month with 5 workstations included and 20 € per month for each additional workstation, with enterprise terms for special requirements.
Integrates with any ERP or MES
Start standalone. Connect any ERP when you are ready.
SkyPlanner connects to all ERP and MES systems through its open REST API, including in-house systems. Orders and products flow in, planned times and material need dates flow back. It also runs standalone, so you can start scheduling before an integration is in place.

Security and data
SkyPlanner runs in the cloud on AWS. If your data needs to stay in a specific country, a dedicated server there is available by agreement. Data is backed up daily and backups are kept for 30 days. Users can sign in with Google or Microsoft accounts and two-factor authentication. A data processing agreement is available, and customer data is never used to train AI models.
Pricing
From 199 € / month
5 workstations included. Each additional workstation is 20 € per month. There is a free trial, and guided onboarding packages are available if you want help setting up workstations, plants and integrations.
Questions about company size
Frequently asked questions
Is SkyPlanner for small or large manufacturers?
Both. SkyPlanner is used by manufacturers of every size. Small factories start with a few workstations and a free trial, and large plants and groups with several sites use the same system with ERP integration, role-based access and enterprise terms. See small manufacturers, large manufacturers and multi-site manufacturers.
What does SkyPlanner cost for different company sizes?
Pricing is per workstation for every company size: 199 € per month including the first 5 workstations, and 20 € per month for each additional workstation. Special requirements such as a dedicated server, custom features or tailored service levels are priced case by case. See pricing.
Can SkyPlanner schedule several plants?
Yes. Workstation groups separate the resources of each factory, local planners schedule their own plant, and SkyPlanner can suggest which plant’s workstations work should be routed through. See multi-site production scheduling.
Can very different factories use the same SkyPlanner?
Yes. SkyPlanner has more than 1,000 configurable settings in its scheduling logic, user interface and data structure, so factories with very different processes or in different industries use the same software. Several plants can share one SkyPlanner, or each plant can run its own SkyPlanner and share routings with the others, and subcontractors can join the same chain.
Do we need an ERP to use SkyPlanner?
No. SkyPlanner can be used standalone with data imported from CSV and Excel files. Any ERP or MES that provides an API can be connected later through the open REST API.
Which industries use SkyPlanner?
SkyPlanner schedules production in food, process, metal, machinery, electronics and consumer goods plants. The industries section has a page for each of 21 industries.
