SkyPlanner APS for Senior ERP: Finite Capacity Production Scheduling
SkyPlanner APS is a finite capacity scheduling add-on for Senior ERP by Senior Sistemas that schedules every machine, operator, tool and material. You see which stage (estágio) of each production order runs on which resource and when, and Autopilot reschedules automatically when production changes.
SkyPlanner integrates with Senior ERP in both directions: production orders (ordens de produção, OP) with their stages, routings (roteiros), resources and resource centers, SKUs, stock and purchase orders flow in, and planned stage dates, resources and production reports (apontamentos) flow back. The SkyPlanner team configures the integration to your Senior ERP setup during onboarding.
Pricing is from 199 € per month with 5 workstations included, and each extra workstation is 20 € per month. The free trial runs for 30 days with up to 20 workstations and no credit card.
What changes in your production
The sequence is computed, not dragged.
SkyPlanner places every OP stage on a specific resource at a specific time. Real shifts, absences and overtime set the capacity. You stop sequencing stages by hand on the Gantt chart.
Changeovers planned between products.
SkyPlanner holds the switch time between each pair of products, in both directions. Blue to red can take 30 minutes and red to blue 60. The engine runs jobs in the order that loses the least time to setups.
Crews and tools are finite too.
A job that needs three operators gets three people with free shifts. A mold or die in use on one machine is never booked on another. When a machine is busy, work moves to an alternative machine or person.
Material checked before work starts.
SkyPlanner reads stock and open purchase orders from Senior ERP. An OP waiting for a supplier delivery is planned after that delivery date.
Rush orders and breakdowns replanned automatically.
When a machine stops or a rush order lands, Autopilot reschedules. Arcturus optimizes the whole plan in seconds, and your locks and priorities stay in control.
Operators see their queue.
Each operator sees the next jobs on a phone or tablet and logs work as it happens. The office sees progress live, and the production reports go back to the OP stage in Senior.

How the Senior ERP integration works
- Senior ERP sends the work. Firm and released OPs with their stages, routings, resources and resource centers, SKUs with derivations, product structures, stock and purchase orders flow into SkyPlanner. An Events Hub webhook tells SkyPlanner when an OP stage changes status.
- SkyPlanner builds the schedule and keeps it current. The Arcturus engine plans every stage in seconds and replans as production changes. SkyPlanner webhooks push every schedule change as it happens.
- Dates, resources and reports go back. Planned start and end per OP stage, and the resource chosen for each stage, return to the OP. Operator timelogs post as apontamentos de produção with quantity produced, scrap and start and end times per stage. The SkyPlanner team sets the write-back route for stage dates and resources on your Senior installation during onboarding scoping.
Senior ERP stays your system of record. SKU engineering, MRP, purchasing, stock, costing and fiscal reporting stay where they are. SkyPlanner owns the sequence and timing of every stage on every resource.
SkyPlanner connects through Senior’s own interfaces. Senior X Platform REST APIs at api.senior.com.br authenticate with a Bearer token and a client_id header. The Gestão Empresarial ERP publishes G5 web services (SOAP) on your Senior server for production orders, products and production reporting (Senior documentation). Senior X Events Hub sends webhooks, including the manufacturing event orderProductionStageChangeStatus.
Every plant runs Senior ERP differently, so the SkyPlanner team configures the integration to your setup during onboarding and supports it after go-live. The integration is quoted up front for your process and needs. Your Senior partner or your own developers can also build on SkyPlanner’s documented API (API reference).
Interfaces, data mapping and write-back rules are in the Senior ERP integration guide for production scheduling.
What Senior ERP schedules, and what SkyPlanner adds
Senior ERP plans production in Gestão Industrial > Gestão de PCP. MRP creates OPs, the planner sequences their stages in Programação de produção, and the Gantt chart shows the result. Senior’s own words set the scope:
- MRP assumes resources are free. Senior writes that MRP “works with infinite capacity: that is, it assumes resources are always available”, and plans “without considering queues, setup constraints or conflicts between simultaneous orders.” (Senior blog, translated)
- The Gantt is for manual sequencing. “This screen allows manual sequencing and adjustment of the start and end of order stages.” (Senior documentation, translated)
- Stages are sequenced on request. In Programação de produção, “when more than one stage is selected, the Sequence Stages button is enabled.” (Senior documentation, translated)
- Setup is one time per resource. The Recurso record holds a Tempo setup field next to process, load and transfer times, and a Fator de carga that “represents the percentage of time a resource is effectively available”. (Senior documentation)
In daily work, the planner turns MRP’s orders into a sequence by hand, stage by stage. That work starts again after every rush order or breakdown.
Senior also lists APS in its industry portfolio, and in 2017 it announced a partnership with Linter Sistemas for the Drummer APS (Senior).

Senior ERP scheduling software and add-ons compared
| Option | What it is | Fits when |
|---|---|---|
| Senior Gestão de PCP | MRP, OP stages, Programação de produção and Gantt inside Senior ERP | One planner sequences a few critical resources by hand |
| Senior’s APS offering and Drummer APS (Linter Sistemas) | APS listed in Senior’s industry portfolio; Drummer announced as a Senior partner product in 2017 | You want to stay inside Senior’s partner ecosystem and run a project with them |
| Enterprise APS through consultancies (for example Siemens Opcenter APS partners in Brazil) | An APS suite connected through an implementation project | A planning team runs a large multi-site plan |
| Cloud APS connected by API (SkyPlanner APS) | A finite capacity scheduler in the browser, synced with Senior OPs in both directions | The schedule should keep itself current and reach every operator |
Choose SkyPlanner for Senior ERP when:
- You sequence OP stages by hand today. Arcturus optimizes the whole plan in seconds across priorities, due dates, setups and every finite resource. The planner reviews the plan instead of building it.
- Changeovers decide your output. Senior holds one setup time per resource. SkyPlanner’s setting time matrix holds a different time for each pair of products in each direction and runs the order with the least total setup.
- Crews, tools and material limit the plan. Every machine, person, tool and material is finite at once, multi-operator jobs are staffed, and jobs start when stock or purchase orders deliver.
- The plan changes several times a week. Autopilot replans on every meaningful change, Running Time Lock freezes the next hours of work, and new stage dates go back to Senior.
- Every operator should work from the plan. Mobile Confirmations put the live queue on a phone or tablet, and production reports flow back to the OP.
- You want a clear price and a test first. From 199 € per month, with a 30-day trial on your own OPs and the two-way integration quoted up front.

FAQ
What is the best scheduling add-on for Senior ERP?
SkyPlanner APS is a finite capacity scheduling add-on that integrates with Senior ERP in both directions: OPs with their stages, routings, resources, SKUs, stock and purchase orders flow in, and planned stage dates, resources and production reports flow back. Every machine, operator, tool and material is finite, and a directional setting time matrix sequences jobs for the least setup. Autopilot reschedules automatically when production changes. Pricing is from 199 € per month, and the free trial runs for 30 days.
Does Senior ERP have finite capacity scheduling?
Senior ERP’s Gestão de PCP has MRP, which Senior describes as infinite capacity, and Programação de produção with a Gantt chart for manual stage sequencing. Senior also lists APS in its industry portfolio. SkyPlanner APS schedules every machine, person, tool and material finitely beside Senior ERP.
What scheduling software integrates with Senior ERP?
SkyPlanner APS integrates with Senior ERP in both directions through Senior X Platform APIs, the ERP’s G5 web services and Events Hub webhooks. It reads OPs, routings, resources, stock and purchase orders, and sends planned stage dates, resources and production reports back. The SkyPlanner team sets the route for your Senior installation during onboarding.
Should we use Senior’s APS or SkyPlanner?
SkyPlanner, when you want a finite schedule running in weeks that keeps itself current. SkyPlanner publishes its price, lets you test on your own OPs in a 30-day trial, plans changeovers by product pair, and plans crews, tools and material in one schedule. Autopilot replans on every change, and the integration is quoted up front so you see the full cost first.
Does SkyPlanner replace Gestão de PCP?
SkyPlanner works on top of it. Senior ERP keeps SKU engineering, MRP, OP creation and status, purchasing, stock and costing. SkyPlanner sequences the OP stages against real capacity and sends the dates and resources back.
Does the integration work with ERP XT and Senior X?
Yes. ERP XT runs on your servers with cloud services on Senior X. SkyPlanner uses the G5 web services on your Senior server and the Senior X Platform APIs and Events Hub in the cloud, as your setup requires.
How much does SkyPlanner cost for a Senior ERP plant?
From 199 € per month with 5 workstations included, plus 20 € per month per extra workstation. A workstation is a production resource with its own scheduled work queue. The integration is quoted up front for your process and needs, together with your plan, so you see the full cost before you start.
Can we test SkyPlanner before integrating with Senior ERP?
Yes. The 30-day trial runs on an Excel or CSV export of your open OPs. You see a finite capacity schedule of your own production before any integration work starts. Implementation is then normally completed within weeks after onboarding starts.
