The Running Timelock is a feature prohibiting changes in a defined time interval in workstations. We have seen how this feature works by using Global Rules and how this applies to all workstations. Nevertheless, you can also apply this feature to only ONE specific Workstation.
- First, let’s go to Production Scheduling.
- Once there, click on the Workstation you want to apply the Running time lock.
- Right-click on the Workstation and select Workstation Rules.
- Once there, look for the Running timelock and write the amount of hours you want that Workstation to be locked for changes.
- Finally, click Save.
If you check on the GANTT Timeline, the jobs that are locked in the period you selected look salmon.
