Customer priority is a way to manage which orders get scheduled first in production.
In manufacturing, Customer priority refers to assigning different levels of importance to customers’ orders based on various factors, such as strategic partnerships, Order size, or time sensitivity. This practice ensures that critical orders receive the necessary attention to meet deadlines and maintain strong business relationships.
In SkyPlanner, Customer priority is set to 0.7 by default, striking a balance so no Order is unfairly favored. But if needed, you can adjust this value for any Customer. SkyPlanner’s AI, Arcturus, uses this setting as part of its Dynamic Priorities, helping you Schedule smarter and adapt to real business needs.
