A process step may require the completion (or a certain degree of it) of a preceding step before it can begin, although this isn’t always necessary.
SkyPlanner offers a customizable option, allowing companies to specify whether such dependencies exist between their internal job tasks. This enables tailored workflow management based on the unique needs of each Order item. When activated, it shows the Job Flow in red lines, as in the image below.
This feature is automatically activated when you use your trial on Skyplanner.
You can find this option here:
- In the GANTT Timeline, pick any job and right-click on it.
- A dropdown will appear; select Job Rules.
- A new window will appear; go to Global Rules.
- Look for Workstage dependencies option and check on the box.
- Finally, click Save.
