# What is Price per Unit?

Price per unit is a SkyPlanner feature that will calculate how much your production will cost in a basic way.

You can set this up when creating a new product or material or edit existing ones.

### How to set up Price per Unit?

- Go to an existing product or material, click the three dots icon on the right side, and select edit, or if it is a new addition, click **+ Create product / + Create material**.
- The product settings window will pop up. Look for Price per Unit.

- Write the price per unit.
- Next, click **Save**.
