# Locking a Process Step Job to a Specific Workstation

Sometimes, certain tasks must be completed on a specific workstation—whether due to better cutting quality or other reasons.

To achieve this in **SkyPlanner**:

- Go to **Production Scheduling** to access the **Gantt timeline**.
- Once inside, **right-click** on the job that must remain on a specific workstation and select **Job rules**.
- In the job settings, navigate through the job tiers, from **Order**, **Order Item**, to **Process Step**. Stay on the **Process Step** level.

- Select **“Lock to current workstation,”** then click **Save**.

Now, no matter how many changes occur, this job will always remain in the assigned workstation.
