# How to Start a job in the Timer

To start a job in the Timer:

- Go to **Timer** and look for the job you need to start. In this example, we will start P5.
- Now the job has started.
- If you go to the GANTT Timeline, you will see that the job will appear in salmon the default color SkyPlanner gives to running and locked jobs.
