# How to add a New Shift to a Workstation

If you want to add a new shift to a workstation, follow these steps:

- Go to **Resources**and select **Workstations.**
- Find the workstation where you want to add a new shift.
- Click on the **blue pencil icon** on the right side.

You will be redirected to the management panel for this workstation. Here, you will see the current shifts assigned to this workstation.

- Click on **"Add New Default Shift."**
- You can choose from an existing default shift, select the day range, or manually set custom hours.

For example, you can create a night shift to have this workstation operating 24 hours

- Click **Save** to confirm the new shift.

Done! The new shift has now been added.

Go to the **GANTT Timeline** and you will notice new capacity in the workstation you selected.

**Important:** Click the **King Button** to reschedule and optimize the production planning.
